I agree in general with what Tamarside has said. They may well have good intentions - but the political meddling and the way in which things are done leaves a lot to be desired.

It seems all this company did was set up a friggin drupal site ! FFS.
Almost exactly 3yrs on from my original post, I now see the problems with BECTA - well intentioned, but over bureaucratic and lacking any teeth.
