Shut. was decided a couple weeks ago due to nature of our school it could become very unsafe if we have low staffing levels. Feels like an INSET day, as majority of staff have come in regardless.

That's a lot of Officers wages for one person and quite frankly I'd rather have more active officers on the street then a Police Commissioner, the police have enough problems with finance as it is and then they go buy a 60k person to sit in an office playing with her dogs, WTF!

    My opinion
Well that's probably a debate for another thread, my point was that the Government felt that the tiny turnout for those elections was valid so they can have no argument against strike ballots with low turnouts.

You will find she was from Kent... I think she's in post for comic effect

And, of course, we all know why Gove has been reshuffled in the cabinet:

These are exceptional circumstances which call for exceptional measures. Therefore I have brought my influence to bear in arranging matters such that two plus two will equal five for the next session of parliament.

So, for the foreseeable future, 2+2=5 but only for large values of 2. Normal, law-abiding values of 2 need not have any concerns.

I see no problems. with that.

[Assuming <n.5 is rounded down and >=n.5 is rounded up]

    2.2 + 2.3 [both regarded as 2] is 4.5 [rounded up to 5]
