Live map of worldwide hacks
Purportedly a live map that monitors honeypots to build a map of attempted hacks worldwide. Makes a good screensaver, if nothing else.
Norse - IPViking Live
It's like a pretty Global Thermonuclear War

This is extremely cool. Our office is now full of people watching the map and going "WHOAH LOOK AT CHINA"!

Why can I not see anything!?
26th June 2014, 12:56 PM #4
Proxy issues, presumably. I have to drop off our Smoothwall box and use the LEA filter or all I get is an empty map.
Is it just me, or does China seem to save up all their attacks for one big 'power shot' and then lay low for a while? lol

Germany just launched a volley at America, that was crazy to see! Having said that it appears China just started nuking Seattle which was an even bigger sustained attack than the German one.
I must say, enjoying this more than I probably should be.

It happened again.
I like how they bizarrely space out so much when there's a lot of activity (presumably because if they didn't it would just be a thick line and that wouldn't look as cool) and it really does look like it's a missile launch

Dual monitor set up.
Live hack map on one monitor, F11 for full screen.
http://hackertyper.net on the other screen, F11 for full screen. Mash the keyboard like a crazy fool.
Convince everyone who walks into your office that IT really is the way Hollywood portrayed it in the 90s, we've just been downplaying it ever since to try and hide our secret.

Running Smoothwall here and it works fine. just checked my settings to make sure it's not bypassing the Smoothwall and no, it's not.
Jeez, it just went mental!!

Are you guys keeping it minimized and then maximising it to catch all the crazy traffic? Because I think if you have the window minimized, it "catches up" with all the attacks you missed when you bring it back up again.
