I was given a silver biscuit tin thing with a picture of a white apple on the lid. It went out in the rubbish this morning

This morning, I have taken a carrier bag full of unused donations from members of my family to the Help the Aged shop... All given by a gradparent who can't come to terms with my children being 12 & 14. She wants them to be 4 & 6 still.

I got some weight, and my family deciding to tell me that i have. Its not my fault, its all this chocolate, and i suppose eating subway for a whole uni term doesnt help. Still ill be walking to work for awhile now.

I got to babysit all 12 of my younger cousins while my parents and aunts and uncles got drunk. I also got to stay in my nan's house, which doesn't have central heating (so I also had the pleasure of sitting in front of a gas fire to keep warm). Oh, and I got to watch endless repeats of "the 2 ronnies" on ITV for 15 hours as my grandad's memory isn't so good and he kept forgeting he'd seen the same episodes 3 hours ago.

On a lighter side, I also got a 40" Sony Bravia LCD TV to go with my Xbox360 to keep me entertained..............the best gifts always come from yourself
