Goes to...Netgear, for giving me a wireless hotspot detector\monitor. Nice. It might have something to do with me spending several thousand on their kit in the near future though. Still, pop over and ask them lots of questions, and they might be nice to you.

We got a wifi detector each, a very nice rep from Netgear, very helpful, told her what kit we owned, and she gave us them as well as a rugby ball stress removed

Re: Best BETT freebie so far.
We fly each year as it's cheaper than me driving down or getting the train. It's also a lot let less hassle!
1. Turn up at airport 40 minutes before flight before flight, watch some Futurama on my Axim
2. Spend an hour in the air watching Family Guy
3. 15 Minutes on the Heathow Express into Paddington
4. 20 Minutes on the tube to Olympia
Out of interest has anyone been to the Education Interactives stand L51? We're demoing some 3D Mindmapping software called Mindscene that we've developed in conjunction with EIL.
Fancy full colour stereoscopic projection that the kids love, strap a heartrate monitor an one of them and they get a 3D view of a heart floating in mid air beating with their own heart.

Keep your eyes peeled for a forth coming competition where there will be a few runner-up prizes of WiFi detectors courtesy of NetGear ...
And yes ... Jen was very nice to so many techies that went up there asking for them.

Unfortunately Jen wasn't there on the Friday when I turned up, so no wifi detector for me. Missed out on the jars of BBC jam too I'm afraid.
I did manage to get a bottle of wine from a fingerprint scanner guy and an unfeasibly large mug from Akhter. This year was also a bumper one for boiled sweets and rock - I'm not sure what that was about.

11th January 2012, 03:01 PM #15 I bet all the good stuff will be gone by Friday when I go
Although, I'm happy enough with pens as they all slowly evaporate from my desk!
