Century Gothic for both, nice font with an 'a' like a handwritten one

Gill Sans at work... no choice, it's house style. Calibri at home cos I'm lazy.

Comic Sans. All day, every day.

Arial Narrow, Courier New or Lucida Console

Calibri for general writing. Although work related stuff needs Helvetica Neue as that is our 'official' font.

Also <nitpick> what is your favourite font. Not you're as this is a contraction of you are making this sentence read 'what is you are favourite font?'</nitpick>

Courier New. I'm a sucker for unispace fonts. They just look so much better

I like to use TW Cen MT. Staff always use comic sans because it's got the little a, so has TW Cen MT (amongst others). I thought if I use it enough staff might follow suit... I've been trying for six years now.

I don't get the obsession with fonts? Am I missing something here? There is a teacher who always requests that I install new latest fonts for her that she finds on the internet! WHY? I use whatever is the default everywhere the only time I look at fonts is if I'm doing logo or image editing on Fireworks/Photoshop!

Completely agree. If I'm doing something "normal" it's Times New Roman, Arial, or whatever the default font of $program is. I do a quarterly newsletter in which I spruce up the fonts a little for headers and things, but it's nothing fancy. The main time I use custom fonts is for graphical works.

Weirdly I was having an issue with an application that shall remain nameless and it kept crashing on load so I did some searching and found some forum posts and people were saying that the application (for whatever reason) tapped into the fonts folder when loading the graphics engine and all these fancy pants funny fonts caused the 3D render to crash thus crashing the application. So I nuked my fonts folder and restored only the 'original' ones and lo the application loaded in first time. Quite why this particular application was rendering fonts from the fonts file when it doesn't even HAVE font choices is a mystery to me but hey. Ironically though the sister application loaded fine and it was far more complex with more graphical interface sorcery. Who knows.

Arial here. I think it is the clearest and I HATE Calibri
