    Honestly

This has been the first time I've not lay awake for hours at the end of a holiday - even if I'd been in for most of it

Things are getting better here from the 'laying awake at night' point of view now I have a massive new UPS, and a SAN an 3 new VMware hosts and Veeam and 2x 8tb NAS.

But I'm not going to rest easy until we no longer have any of the crashy, unsupported, un-repairable RM DCs on the network any more.

Basically, we don't have any support contracts with RM any more as they were a complete waste of time - RM were fixing less than 10% of the faults we reported to them, but if something catastrophic happened to a DC, because of it's RM-ness, despite having good backups, I'm not sure we could recover from it in a timely fashion.
