    What's best Intel Chips or AMD Chips?

    I like intel icore ones but the pricing makes me wonder as AMD is cheaper are they worth it?

    Ohh this is a sore subject to some I think. All my stuff at work is Intel but my gaming machine at home has an AMD FX-8530 and its a beast!

    We stick to Intel.
    At home I used to be AMD for gaming but moved to i7 on the first gen

    It's all a bit tribal and about personal preference really. I think the common opinion is pretty much what you have said, AMD = Good for those on a budget, Intel = Better performance, but at a cost. Really depends on what you plan on doing with the computer in question. I find CPUBoss useful if you have two chips in mind and want to do a comparison.

    From experience AMD were better but have dropped off in recent years. The Intel Core i Series generally outperform their AMD Alternatives, however they're likely to be pricier.

    Very simple. For budget gaming, AMD. For serious gaming and enterprise level usage, Intel. There's very little to be sore about or to argue about there.
