TBH I don't play it - a friend tried to get me into it but I've got a bit sick of MMORPG's having gone through WoW, Guildwars and EVE. I'm more into 1st person shooters (BF2, ET-Quakewars, ET- truecombat elite) ATM.
(all of which run on linux via wine/cedega)

I would recommend guildwars though, I picked it up for £15 for a 'perpetual' license.

Sorry doesn't it say at the bottom of Tiny chimpboys postings that he's looking for work, rather than already employed.

Give the lad a break he's young, but keen! (Sorry 'tiny not wanting to sound patronising re your age etc)
No need to say sorry chrbb, you was putting across a point.. i am young and my age should not make any differance but to some people it does unfortunatly (by the way that was nothing to do with anyone in these forums it was about all the employers who have interviewed me so far)

    Regards

    James

Let's face it 99% of people at school, college, UNI AND IT people (i'm not making any reference to people on here ofcourse ) have used or continue to use 'free' or cracked software.
Glad someone said what I was thinking......

Hey everyone I didn't want to start a flaming session.

All i want is to find some new software that I am unaware of, the sort of stuff as I said before like Samurize etc.

BTW I have downloaded the game Cybernerd it looks really good I'm sure my boys will enjoy it keep them quiet for a while. But if anyone else knows of any really good FREE MMORPG please please post them time is running out.

thanks guys oh and be nice its nearly christmas

It was meant as a joke ops: - why can't they come up with forums that can portray body language and tone of voice!
And I didn't spot the sig, I'll go with the "tired" excuse.

Fair comment Mr Crazy - once my sons had explained to me what LOL meant, I usually put that at the end of my comments that I intend to be humorous just in case it's taken the wrong way!

Maybe it's because your sig 'Ethical Hacking & Countermeasures Student'
makes you sound as though you may be working for FACT when you leave uni. Is it a real course or have you made it up? Ooh sorry forgot the LOL!

The official, and I really do mean *OFFICIAL*, stance from EduGeek and its Admins and Staff is that whilst there are those out there that do indeed use cracked, pirated or other software that is in breach of its licensing arrangements, members should not be offering such software to one another.

In the case of the offered software ... fair enough, there is *one* license going spare ...

As for attacking those members that highlight the stance of the site when it comes to illegal software ... it will not be tolerated.

This thread will not be locked as long as it moves back to the original topic. If any members have an issue please PM me.

Re: help required for my two sons new pcs

I had a look at the software you mentioned TinyChimpboy and thats not really what I was on about, after some extensive searching on google the term thats being used for what I'm looking for is PIMP XP and it seems the two I'm using samurize and object docker are two of the main ones.

    So just any FREE MMORPG

I wondered myself when I heard of it LOL! It took a BBC News link to convince me!
And if I told you who I work for I would have to kill you ......lol

Custom MsStyles files can also be helpful - but you may need to replace your uxtheme.dll file to allow you do it, as by default you can only use MS signed themes.
Also, not quite relevant to the OP, but on Vista there's a program called LogonStudio Vista from Stardock which is free and allows you to change the background of the Vista logon screen.
