    How much should I offer?

When I retire in a couple of months I'd like to keep my laptop. It's a Stone NT310 i5. Is £50 too much?

Nope. Looks like a decent spec - not used one personally but you can easily pay £400 for a budget machine of the same spec now, despite it being Ivy Bridge based.
