    If you're in to this kind of thing, then I highly recommend these two books (particularly the first one, which I've read, the second is sat on my desk waiting to be read):

    Replay: The History of Video Games
    The Ultimate History of Video Games

    Replay is a very good and informative read. Been meaning to pick up the other for a while now, keep seeing on Amazon and thinking...maybe...

    Actually true Atari aficionados would know that game is probably a not so close second...
