    got a total gym off ebay £50 quid, excellent little device. Also our new tech hub is at the highest point of the school thus loads of steps to climb daily. It kills me walking from the car park to the office every morning.

    Problem is while we are young our bodies cope with all the food very well but start to hit 25 you find the body dosn't cope with all intake of rubbish as before. We also become less active around this age due to various reasons family, work etc.

    Well that is what I am telling myself anyway

    It is true though - as you get older you put on weight a lot easier. I am the same size as I was 15 years ago (average, since you ask) but in those days I did little exercise and now I walk the dog twice a day, do two very high power exercise classes and run for an hour every week.

    The answer to dieting is...don't!! Just eat a bit less (one slice of bread, not two, one roast potato etc) Give up most of your 'empty calories' such as pastry, cake sweets chocolate and alcohol.
    And exercise a little bit more - walk up stairs. Go and see people instead of emailing them etc etc

    No I'm not jellious as that sounds just like me and I can have a 3 course lunch every day of the week including sticky gouey deserts at work and not put an ounce on
