Ohhh I've been wondering what will get me Official status! I must look into (read annoy someone into) getting one.

It's not official until you spend half an hour explaining to a member of staff why VPN doesn't connect when you are in school because they keep on asking "Why?"

Pfft. Child's play. Already had to do that because we got a fair few iPads in for some of the staff a while ago.

I'm there... I have a VeryPC mug, but I also managed to cadge some Hitachi Digital Media goody bags from a meeting with our local Hitachi rep which were excellent.

I'd feel guilty having a VeryPC mug. We ordered eval units off them but ended up going with Stone instead as they were smaller and felt more robust.

@X-13 BETT freebies only count if you have fought your way onto a crowded train with 8 bags of goodies just to sort out at home while your cat is climbing in the bags trying to eat all the stress balls :-)

I'm trying quite hard to be a VeryPC customer, I've got quote after quote off them and none of them has got past the purse strings yet!

You are all Wrong... You know you are an IT Technician when You are Accepted and Feared by the Technology.
You know you have acheived this when you turn up to fix somthing and the user says... "Oh... Look it's working now. It didn't do that for me!"
Smile to yourself and say "I know, I'm a techie it knows better".
