Cannot believe you 'enjoyed' the rib man sauces. They are nice though....

Revisiting this thread because the subject of The Scoville Heat Scale came up in conversation today:

Link: The Scoville Heat Scale for Chilli Peppers and Hot Sauces from ChilliWorld. Compare relative heats all the way to Blair's 6 A.M. - pure capsaicin.

    This scale goes from:

    0: Sweet Bell pepper to:
16,000,000: Blair's 16 Million Reserve, from Gardner Resources, Inc.

Frank's Red Hot Sauces come in the range 450 to 2,085 on this scale.

Blairs stuff is good, even the lower non-stupid ones he sells.

edit: The original death sauce is good when I tried it (I dont readily detect all that much heat in food here thanks to years of Vindaloo/Madras abuse)

Makes for interesting times when I make the curry here, usually my poor wife coughing and reaching for the water

I'll vouch for that, Sippo was kind enough to give me a bottle and whilst opening I caught a drop in my right eye.

Not a fun day at the office
