    MP3 software with ID3 tagging

    Hi All

    I have a herd of mp3 files named: Track 1,Track 2 etc.
I'm looking for suitable software that can identify the tracks and auto ID3 tag them correctly. Anyone got any suggestions?

WinAmp can do it, queue them all up in the playlist, sleect them all, right click and send to > auto tag (if memory serves). Has worked well for me in the past.

MusicBrainz Picard will auto tag files based on the audio fingerprint of the track (similar to how Shazam works).

Thanks guys. MusicBrainz gets my vote - not only does it tag them, it also renames the files and moves them to 'x' location when done!

Used WinAMP, Kid3 and MAGIX's mp3 software in the past, but it looks like Musisbrainz is worth a try also. Thanks for the suggestions!

Id3-tagit - Really quite a lot this will do for you. Development has stopped though.

MP3tag is very good too. Tag sources include Amazon, Discogs, FreeDB, MusicBrainz to name a few.
