Adding "you get to ride a horse" makes that even worse...
I just chose not to stoop to your level
    That's a reasonable excuse, right?

No time to read this thread... Too busy giving detention to the kids holding roses at work.

A fullstop is all you need.

6 characters minimum, image reference number counts as 5.

If they have thorns, make sure the kids have a good solid grip on the rose stem.

Fair bit of that here, too. I overheard a girl earlier: "Ow, this rose you have me has a staple in it! Wait.. that's not a staple. Why's my rose got spikes in it?!"

She also went on to proclaim "What do you even do with roses?"

    I despair for humanity.

To be fair, she has a point.

A rose [by any other name] is pretty much useless.

The answer, though, is fairly obvious. Put it in a vase.

Or a bin, depending on your opinion of the person that gave it to you.

Went to watch my daughter (10) in a school play this morning. Afterwards she came over to tell us (quite disgusted) that some boy had left a card in her desk with no name in it. I gave her a hug and told her she was right to shun the boys

I think @sonofsanta wins the valentine's day competition.
My children have never sorted out a meal for mrwITch and I, and they are 21,23 and 25!!
    Your daughter is a star!
