    Fair bit of that here, too. I overheard a girl earlier: "Ow, this rose you have me has a staple in it! Wait.. that's not a staple. Why's my rose got spikes in it?!"

    She also went on to proclaim "What do you even do with roses?"

    I despair for humanity.

    Went to watch my daughter (10) in a school play this morning. Afterwards she came over to tell us (quite disgusted) that some boy had left a card in her desk with no name in it. I gave her a hug and told her she was right to shun the boys
