CAN a head change your job description without you agreeing and also is it easy for him to turn around and say "well i will have your job description changed......

A head can change your job description, but you don't have to agree to it.

If they add extra responsibilities, make sure you get more money and training. Again speak to Union.

I have been told to goto the Offices where they keep a record of all council employees. There I need to get a copy of my Job Description/Person Spec and contract of employment. Once I have these I meet with Unison Rep and they will come into school.

I am meeting with the head in the next half an hour to tell him what I will be doing. I have been told to say I want it in writing and I am going to speak to my Trade Union before making any changes to my Job Role.

He has backed down and said he will review the timtable and meet with me monday. He was trying to be nice as pie. I will keep an update on here come monday.

I have still asked for the required info in writing and I am getting the info from the council. (Contract etc.)
