    Let's face it almost every phone sold in the past few years is an MP3 player and from Apples perspective they can sell a lot more iPhones if people want the kudos of listening to music on an Apple device!

    Hmm, shame. I won't buy an iphone but would buy a ipod still.

    prefer a separate device

    I still carry an iPod and an iPhone. I like them separate too. I change my phone more than my iPods so i just stick with the base model iPhones and get bigger iPods.

    They've been asking this same question for years in the press. I think that as long as the line is making them money, they'll produce it.
