    Is this a sign of things to come?

    I've just seen a bulletin from County saying that Looked after Children now have a virtual headteacher! I understand the concept in this case but it makes you wonder how much could be saved if all HTs were replaced in this way?

    Is that on Hyper-V or VMware?

    You how long it's going to take the tech savvy kids to work out they can send a virtual pupil to sit with the virtual teacher in the virtual school while they play hooky down at the arcades?

    In my day we used to play the wag down the arcades, where the truant man would find you and drag you off to school by the ear! Now, when playing hooky, they would just stay in their bedrooms glued to the PS-X-Box-DS machine. I do miss proper pinball machines.
