    8 miles roughly... generally takes me about 20/25 minutes to get into work in the mornings.

    Time taken : 20 minutes by car, as I have to drop my son off on the way

    When I worked in London, we lived about 4 miles out and my commute was well over an hour : walk to the station, wait for train with room to squeeze onto it, repeat process at tube station then walk from tube to work. I don't miss those days much

    10-15 minutes by car depending on traffic
    15 minute cycle ride
    half hour walk.

    16 miles. Takes anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic and if I want a sarny or not.

    Driving - about 12miles there, 15miles back. No more than half an hour. Cycling - 15miles, about 1hr 20, did get down to about 1hr 5 at my fastest - nearly 2hrs on a bad day and I won't tell you the time with a puncture 3 miles from home
