Can anyone recommend any good PAT testing companies?
Yes I'm aware it's a redundant acronym.
We are in Leeds and are looking for a company to do our PAT testing but I have heard many horror stories about companies unwrapping new cables etc. just to charge an extra 50p. Has anyone used a good company recently?

As much as i loathe doing PAT it's worth doing a course and buying your own gear. It's a pain in the neck, hateful job to do but you know it's gonna be done right.

We get all ours done by an outside company, its well worth the money imo.
They are local to us though.

Given your location Hawksworth always did a good job even though we are in Carlisle.

We have got the gear and a few staff trained but we simply don't have the time to get on top of it unfortunately.

LOL... Perhaps if you had not put your name in the other thread and not had your name as your e-mail on your website this would not be such an obvious try at plugging your own business.
