That's assuming we have a girl of course - if it's a lad I'm scuppered!

No but it is in the top 150 on that list - I won't say what it is because I don't want to encourage it's growth

I bet it will end up as Amelia Mae
    Quite nice really
I know what you mean about much loved names becoming common. One of my family names is Megan and it used to be so unusual that my sister Megan was the only one in the whole of our senior school. Now it is a bit different, so when it came to naming my daughter I wanted Megan to be in there but not as her only name. I was hoping for Megan-Rose but mrwITch got involved and she is now Sally Megan.
Strangely, it is Sally that is the unusual name - there is no child called Sally in any school I have worked in.

We currently have two with Mega as a first name. In the last 15 years, there have been eleven. Scary thought, the plethora of girls named Kylie in the late 80s will now be naming babies of their own!

I would cause pain to any parents putting "Doge" in their kid's name anywhere. In fact, I'd like to cause pain to anyone using/making that annoying meme.

    What's wrong with staying simple.

    Kate. Short for Bob.

There will be no further choices for me... My wife has chosen nice welsh names as both of us are of strong welsh stock. We have Ffion Eleanor for a girl and Ioan Griffith for a boy. I got the middle names which are both from my great grandparents.

He doesn't want the internet to name his daughter. He wants a lulzy poll he's going to ignore, as nobody's christening a little girl Darth Slagathon or whatever.

My youngest is called Ffion, Ffion Mae to be exact. Nice to see you're spelling it the correct Welsh way, but our Ffion's teachers always had a problem with the double-F.

I think it's a beautiful name, and she's grown into a beautiful young woman, too, but I would say that, wouldn't I? All grown-up now, 22.
