I must be 1 of very very few IT workers in the country that has never had a cup of tea or coffee in my entire life. I've had a sip of coffee but that's about it.

So damn tired lately though that I'm considering taking it up.....

Excellent! How did you find getting off it at the start of your fast - did you come down gradually before, or just put up with the caffeine withdrawal headaches until they went?

I'm trying to reduce my coffee intake lots, i feel like crap by the evening if i have coffee all day at work, i never use to drink this much coffee either. So far 1 or 2 cups a day i seem to be sticking to instead of the 10+ . I don't want to be one of those drug addicts who cannot wake up in the morning until i've had a coffee, and I'm guessing thats the next stage if i don't cut down.

Well i tend to get out of bed, walk around like a zombie for a bit, walk to work in the cold and miraculously feel awake by the time i get there

Occasional tea drinker, but not at work, I'd rather have water or squash. Have you been in our staff room?

Everyone here has their own cup, and brings their own brew supplies. Problem solved.

Hate coffee. I equate it with medicine, as I only ever have it when I my inhaler has ran out and I need something to ease my airways before I get to hospital...

Tea though. Tea is an art form. Tea, Earl Grey, Hot. MMmmmm

I stopped drinking it because I had a feeling it was making me quite ill - headaches, stomach cramps, bloatedness.....not had any of that for two weeks even allowing for Christmas indulgences. Quite lucky in the fact that once I decide on something then that is it so I came in one day and didnt have any at all, really wanted one but reminded myself why and that was it, one day became and then two, three days and so on.

I should say that I dont drink tea either, probably a handful of cups a year at most.
