It has been deceided by us *her* that we are going christmas shopping on Saturday to get it all done and out of the way with. I want to go somewhere different, not bothered about distance as we might make a weekend out of it but - where is good to go, either town based or even one of the big shopping centres?

That was what I did think at first - however, you know what these female types are like, I get the enjoyment of being dragged round eleven million shops all day long :-)

Metro centre near Newcastle Upon Tyne is the largest in Europe, all you need under one complex and a choice of hotels.

I volunteered to go Christmas shopping with my girlfriend in Newcastle this saturday. Have I gone mad? :?
(Actually, I don't get to see her that often so I'm prepared to go shopping to see her
)
EDIT: Metro Centre FTW!
