    I saw this article this morning. I couldn't help but think that these happen all-year-round (except maybe the wifi-based ones), and also there's not really much advice on how to not get stung by them (there's a little, but it's still sorely lacking!)

    best advice for most of them is engage brain and turn wifi off when you dont need it

    So on my desk and on every desk where children use computers, we have a stand up flyer (originally produced by Kent Community Network - thanks) which says amongst other useful things:
    "We can click on the buttons when we know what they do."
    Pupils seem to get this quite easily...
