ICT Direct - No more Printing Consumables :(

Just had the email from ICT Direct as i was about to get a quote from them...

    Thanks for the email.

We have decided not to continue with the print consumables as it was taking our eye off our main business of computer hardware.

<I would recommend another company here>.

    Kind Regards,
I can understand but, but but.

I dont want to use anyone else

Or the OP removed it? Either way, if you need recommendations for other companies, just ask.

Makes sense. Diversification only really makes sense if it is going to gain them something. Focusing on their core business is a good thing I think!

Sensible decision I think, if it's affecting their ability to run their core business then they're best out of it unless it's profitable enough to hire someone else to deal with it.

I'm afraid we have had to stop with the print stuff. It was too time intensive for the amount of return we were getting and we would much rather spend our time sourcing better hardware to offer you lovely people.

The company we suggest as an alternative are both reliable and well priced (not to mention that we met them at BETT last year and they're lovely people)

So from now no print, but our hardware offerings are already better than ever! Please give me a shout if anybody wants anything from us!

And once again apologies to those os you who had come to rely on our print service!

    yes I removed it.

I can understand. But I only order toners and ink carts. I don't get a say in any hardware

I won't be able to speak to vilki or John
