go into work as always.
The same as they were in 1987. Do as planned. Unfortunately in 1987 we had no electricity, no trains and the riads were blocked by fallen trees and that day's plan was going home to Yorkshire to see mum... so I had to change my plan. Plans may get changed tomorrow morning, but not until then.
Weatherman - "There's going to be some weather other than sun or light rain"
Southerner - "Sorry boss, I won't be coming into work for the next few days, there's going to be weather"

Being a proper geek I go into school when the weather is good and take the day off if it looks bad.
Looking at the map above,
We are actualy just on the very edge of the non shaded to light shaded area...
However this place has it's own weather system here could be a bright sunny day, drive 2 miles out of town and it could be 10ft snow drifts
Yesterday on the news the weather forecasters were increasingly confident they had got it right and that a huge storm is on it's way, there's no hurricane on it's way, lol
Going in and manning the pumps in case we get a bit of rain, if not then 8 Imacs will get built and installed in the new media suite :-)
We're right in the path of the storm, so just have to see what I wake up to. Mr Fish says that it won't be as bad as 1987, but he said something like that last time...
(to be fair, his forecast is taken out of all context, but it's become such a meme that it's hard to resist!)
Just had to come in, it was too hot in the midday sun. 26C in the shade.
Stay in bed and continue watching TV while i see cars flying about outside my window
Well im in KFC and looks ok to me so does my chicken lol

I think a bigger worry tomorrow will be finding out if NTP has worked. It should, of course, but I always have that nagging doubt when I go in after the clocks change.
Pfft who needs NTP
