I've got a trangia, I can cook anything even if it is windy... Seriously I'm going in but it's going to be madness as the m40 leads to a40 which is a truck road for London. Yes it's half term but if no trains are running the roads are going to be madness.

I'm reading on some other forums about people complaining about the non-storm and how teh only 'damage' they have seen is wet leafs on their cars! It's rather pleasant here in Preston ATM.

It is very windy down here (center of sussex) - I am working from home anyway today so unless I have a power cut I have no excuse!

We are still being battered by winds in West Kent; the wind has been raging for a long time. We have power, but the local radio station is off air on FM.

Its very windy down here in Hastings. Has been since last night. We got power for now but lights have been flickering on and off for last hour!

The wind is getting stronger here now: Stressing the trees and causing frequent brownouts: We have had several dips in power in the last couple of minutes.
