    Educating Yorkshire on Channel 4

    Has anyone been watching educating yorkshire?

    I've been injoying the show as it has given me a look in to how a different secondary school is run.

    Yes its been a good laugh and shows what a young and vibrant SLT can do in a school in my view, none of this namby pamby stuff !

    Does seem rather brave of the schools to allow their day to day activaties to be recorded.

    Seems they are tosh and SmartBoards quite a bit of digital signage as well...so funny watching it with my mum (who is a teacher) shes going on about the teaching/slt etc and I am scanning for tech what a geek

    I think it encourages sympathy in a way - (love the show by the way, and think it is very realistic)
    People who have no dealings with school think it's all sunshine and daisy's, but this show shows how difficult it can be for staff and students. It also shows how much the staff care about the students and that is really important.

    I'll ask our SLT if they want to give it a pop - we are a KS3 Special Needs for young lads with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Somehow I think I know where they will tell me to go!
