Hannes Monitors - Anyone using them? Feedback Please

Anyone using the Hannes TFT monitors?

I just wondered what the feedback is like on these such as swap out/warranty. tech Support etc?

If you means Hanns-G ones we have a few.

I don't like the ones we have not enough contrast to them.

Swap out don't know as the one we have with dead pixels doesn't have enough of them.

WE had a dodgy patch of monitors, CRT not tft though! we had to send them back to Germany to get them replaced.

We could send a maximum of 4 at a time (60 in total had to be sent back!!)
Fax through the serial numbers in advance, then they would send DHL with some big padded boxes for us to send them back.
Pain!

How long does the whole process take Dan? We are looking at them at the moment. I presume and hope that getting a dodgy batch of 60 would be unusual and just bad luck for you.

I've seen those monitors on ebuyer before - they're much cheaper than any other apparently similar monitor, which is presumably why you're considering them but it sets alarm bells ringing for me (cynical, I know, and maybe I'm missing out on a Good Thing, but....).

I've used Hannes-G monitors before, CRT ones, and found them to be adequate but not amazing.

We have quite a few - not stunning but do the job.
