Note Taking App
We are looking to get support staff to use our ipads and android tablets to photos of childrens work and add notes.
Ideally, We would then be able to save the photo along with the note into google drive.
After a quick look, a few of the apps just save the photo and not the note.
Anyone do anything like this?

Have you tried ever note?
I have this on my laptop and a client on my desktop and it does this just fine.

Have been looking at Evernote and Skitch.
The Issue is we need to put all the notes into a format for the parents to be able to view. Like a learning log.
Currently they take a photo on the class camera, upload the photos, print them out, cut them out, glue them in a book and write comments..! The parents can then view these books when they come into class.

For android theres Google Keep,
You can take a picture and have a note underneath it.
Not sure if its on Apple yet.

Google Keep has no native iOS app (there's a terrible 3rd party app in the App Store), but its completely unnecessary as the web version works perfectly in Safari. Go to https://drive.google.com/keep and log in.
They will still need some formatting and organising after the fact, as Keep doesn't have folders to store all the image & notes for one child together. The print layout may also not be as you would want it.

NoteMaster is probably also worth a look. It's paid (£2.49) but there is a Lite version to try out. Syncs to Google Drive in the native Docs format, which is nice.

We're looking to do the same. The problem I have with all the solution above is lack of control of the data. There is highly likely to be confidential data included in these types of notes and there is little opportunity to protect them. At the minute I'm playing with Notability - the problem I have there is getting the notes off in a useful format - it can sync notes via iTunes, but you lose all of the folder structure, so I'm looking at webDav apps. All a bit of a pita, but if I can get something slick working for teachers it'll be worth it.
Any better solutions also welcomed in this parish
