I wondered if it would be a good idea to set up a post/title for admin installs of software.
What i mean by this is when a new Flash Player or Shockwave player is released. Someone to tell us as soon as they know and also where to go get the admin/deploy-able install from.
Other software such as new releases of Java, Quick-time, Real-player, etc. All essential stuff most of us use in our images all the while.
It would be handy to know when a new one is released. Also such as a Adobe Acrobat installer without the Google Update crap.
Is this already happening somewhere on here or does anyone else think this is a good idea?

Doesn't it happen already on places like appdeploy? I'm sure that has been the answer to this question in the past, although it's a very useful resource that would be great to mirror here, if only in a link on the wiki.

App deploy is useful but sometimes the instructions are complicated and different people post different solutions, some say they work, others say they dont etc
It would be nice as a sub forum here, like each release has a post and discussion and then when a solution is found then that is posted as *the* way to deploy it
Plus I trust the people here more
