Is it me or have google gone backwards in their development for google maps. I have just had to revert back to the classic google maps as the new one is carp.

Erm, the fact it wanted me to cycle down the A1(M)!

Its slow and not easily usable on all browsers. The classic on is much quicker. Street view is a pain to start working.

its useless on metro ie old versions one new one just fail and unless and until google do a map app for win 8 its back to the old one

I find the offline caching is now rubbish, I go quite a few areas with no signal so download the area. Its not very intuitive now.

I find it rather clunky on my work PC now. Old Google maps ran a lot smoother.

I haven't experienced any problems and I use it daily.

I hate it, and does anyone know how to access streetview on it? Will use the old one as long as its an option.
