I love supernoodles. I load them in pitta breads with chopped sausages, sweet chilli sauce and mayo.

Wraps work really well too. Also, scatter some slow cooked onions on them. Or even better, buy a pot of the crispy onion bits and use them. So much quicker and just as awesome.

I've just dropped some money on a deposit and am now playing the "Is this safe to eat" game!

Today - a tin of tuna that doesn't have a best-by date, and some crushed chillies in the fridge with some fresh mayo. Tres bien.

    Tomorrow - the unlabelled tin...

I remember playing a version of that game the last time my parents moved house.

Turns out they had a !Tin! of cheese, which was older than I am (and I was in my mid 20's at the time!)

We used to get canned cheese in the ration packs in my RAF days. It's actually quite tatsty, like eating a very dry cheese triangle. We feed the fish with it during a diving expedition, they seemed to love the stuff. The thing that has always puzzled me, is how do fish know that canned cheese is tasty and safe to eat?

Last night, I spent opening a ration pack meal - partly because I was really hungry, and mostly because I couldn't be bothered trying to make a meal of whatever was in the cupboards.

Still - chicken tikka with rice, followed by treacle pudding - still a win.

Payday today though - tonight, I shall feast like a king...

As it is Friday, the law dictates that Fish and Chips must be consumed, therefore we are going to the chip shop at lunch time today. Lunchtime special of "mini" fish and chips is £3...and its not mini thats for sure

Its Monty Python....that's where the line stops as he is interrupted by one of the Knights saying "skip a bit brother"
