I was having a conversation with another forum member and i mentioned back peas. The other member had no idea what i was meaning i thought i was strange
.
Someone a few weeks back from Manchester thought they was from the Caribbean. Its Lancashire food by the way.
Do you actually know what black peas are?

I like to have a white pudding & chips supper when I go up to Edinburgh. My wife's Scottish and introduced me to it back in the eighties.

The thing that really bothers me when ever I go up north is that the pubs insist on spoiling what would otherwise be a really good pint by using sparklers - so even the southern beers end up tasting creamy like boddingtons!

welsh cakes is the thing I like as don't visit wales much and don't see or welsh rels very much means don't get them very often.
But have just found out that sainsbury sell oreo biscuits.
