It's the chavvy version. I'm from Wolverhampton, it's a serious condition.

But the worst part about this is that the room for some reason has an unblocked skylight right in the middle of it, so the desktops right underneath it are getting obscenely warm and overheating.

Work today is pleasant, however home has been horrid all weekend too hot and humid and had prickly heat rash since Friday thanks to the heat being incompatible with me
20c is more than good enough for me.

Our office is Air Conditioned but last week it decided to wee all over the floor so is now switched off. I've asked for a repair but I've been informed that it'll have to wait for the Summer holidays as thats when the service company are booked in to do a massive service program on all the units here. Great, heat wave starts and ours is broke. If that's the attitude that is taken when the Server Room AC packs in, then I'll be switching the servers off until fixed.

Same here! I actually volunteered to stand out in the hot sun for sports day this morning to avoid our blazing inferno of an IT room. As a bonus though the staff are also avoiding it like the plague so even though I'm melting, I'm melting peacefully without to many jobs to do.

Hate the heat, the schools just been rebuilt and I'm in a office with AC now, but over last summer I was in Temp buildings and they were like ovens. Been nice so far this year if I stay in the office.

Fine here, shorts and t-shirt for me, computers all turned off, servers down to the basic minimum while we have the a\c in the server room replaced. Gotta love the school holidays

Air con in the office set at a nice 19, Server room is doing fine too which is a relief as the air con failed 3 times in there earlier this year.

But having lived in Oz I miss the heat to be honest, so make the most of it.

Servers are chilled in the air con which works great in the summer not that good in the winter.

Office get's damn hot on most days where there's any sun but got a portable air con unit behind me and also a desk fan on a high shelf to help move the cooler air about.

Had to strip 2 rooms of sockets/cabs etc and then move 50 computers from one building to another and put them into storage until september - NOT fun in this heat!
