Its not a heat wave. Its our summer.
If it wasn't our summer and to be expected then it would be a heatwave.

Enjoy the nice weather, I’ve had nothing but rain the last few weeks. Just checked on the weather channel 20 days of rain since 1st June.
The ground is just saturated, and my property has become a mud hole.

With how hot I was yesterday, I wish it was an option.

Jeans are not a good idea in a heatwave.

14 mile traffic jam into Bournemouth yesterday and people still trying to get back out long after midnight.

UPDATED: Anger follows weekend traffic bedlam on A338 (From Bournemouth Echo)

And this is before the 6 weeks of bedlam when the schools break up, the fireworks and the Airshow starts!!!!

(I still wouldn't live anywhere else though....)

Went down to the beach - Canford Cliffs - at 8.45am yesterday and was surprised at the number of people already there. Usually you can park up on the cliff till about 9.30.
Left at 11 and the place was heaving. Absolutely beautiful though - Old Harry Rocks, Hengisbury Head, and the Isle of Wight sparkling in the sunshine.

Saturday - we climbed Scafell Pike
I got some pretty bad sunburn on my hands and my neck - along with some wind burn as well!

Sunday was spent in the shade watching Andy Murray demolish Novak Djokovic!

Today, in a very stuffy office, with a sore neck due to a collar rubbing up against it
