Has the weather in Preston not been glorious enough to have it out yet?

in Winchester there are only a few places I would go for a decent burger.
but I prefer to make my own. got some wild boar at the moment from the farmer to make into burgers or sausages depending on the mood.
but look on the bbc food section they have some nice recipies on there
on the other hand if im out with mates and there is a burger king near I shall make my own burger from the hidden menu aka make your own burger I didn't tell you they do this

I should add when making my own cheeseburgers at home i place the slice of cheese on top of the patty as it's cooked; helps create a wonderfully gooey creation. Add some lettuce and tomato with optional streaky bacon and it aint bad.

That sounds like it needs fixing....

It has been nice enough, however we spent the first 2 weeks pointing at the shining yellow ball in the sky wondering what it was!

Our local take away joint does some amazing burgers.
I normally get a Half pound (2 burgers) bacon & cheese burger, but if im being especially naughty go for a three quarter pounder (3 burgers) that renders me completely satisfied.

Burgers in London? Byrons with shake.

I'll be making my own quarter pounders tomorrow to chuck on the BBQ - first of the year! I'll use beef mince from the local farm (very lean, great quality) a finely diced onion, a couple of red chillies, a couple of cloves of garlic, a pinch of cumin and plenty of pepper
I have to say, I love the burgers at that burger joint in Spitalfields market, Gourmet Burger Co. I think it's called... (I don't go to London often, but eat there quite often when I do)

Ostrich burgers are awesome, try one if you get the chance. I was extremely taken aback when i suggested a BBQ and my Mrs said she doesn't like BBQ food. WHAT?!?!

Heading to Byron tonight to try one of their Big B's which are apparently amazing. Wasn't bowled over by their standard burgers but this should be good.
Also go to Dirty Burger in Kentish Town quite often which is a great little shack at the back of a pizza place. And have tried Meat Liquor & Market. No others so far, but will definitely check out Five Guys soon

He should also point out that you may not be able to move for a few hours after one of those. I'm pretty sure they come with a govt health warning also, awesome!
