For me it's either got to be my iPad or my smartphone (was an iPhone user but now have a Samsung S4!). Both have changed how I use/interact with computers/internet/devices. If I had to pick I'd probably go with smartphone.

I'm lost without my smartphone and data contract and even went so far as to get a PAYG T-Mobile SIM while in New York recently to help me get around/find stuff!

You can buy replica portal guns though!

EDIT - X-13 beat me before I could even hit post!

My favourite tech would have to be a toss up between my Windows Phone or Vita.

$170 - shows dedication to the cause! I'd sooner find an old 10-BaseT LAN card (I must have one laying around somewhere) to hold up

I'm loving my new HTC One. The screen is brilliant and the new HTC user interface is pretty cool too

I've had it since 1974 and it still works fine. The instruction book on mine is a bit more tatty than the one in the picture. I saw one the other day for £45 on ebay. Extra points if you can use one!

It'd have to be the Atari 2600 for me - that was my first computer and pretty much responsible for me pursuing a career in IT since the age of 5

Acorn Electron for me if you want to know what started it, probably best piece of technology and most useful I use is the screwdriver other than that if you have to pick electronic I would struggle I think, probably my kindle, though the iPad is creeping in there now

I would say my Canon EOS 450D DSLR. I'm not that great at photography but the immense satisfaction when you do get a great shot is so rewarding. It's the one piece of technology I like using in my down time to relax.

My night vision scope. Amazing for stargazing and watching all the satellites and meteors that you can't see with the naked eye
