    Robbin' in da Hood, man...

Is it just me or is this series a load of tosh?

It's like a badly written, rehearsed, and performed school play.

It's like a bunch of chavs from Essex have suddenly found themselves transported back in time to olde worlde England.

I keep expecting one of them to say, "Sod this, let's go and nick a cart then torch it".

No, it was the nightmares I had from watching the last series and the repeated trailers for this one that have convinced me it's another lemon.

Now that would be an anachronism, and the production staff would never allow it. They would say, "Sod this, let's go and nick a CART then torch it".

No-one will ever better Richard Greene, IMHO.

Ahem but pardon my ignorance, who is Richard Greene? I'm too pissed to Google at the moment. My pet electric eel is typing this for me as I dictate.

I really liked the first series but I really am concerned about this new one, especially when they some how managed to fit a two ronnies joke into the show, in the middle of a fight scene no less!

Don't get me wrong I love the two ronnies but theres a time and place for their jokes, namely in their show, not robin hood!

Its turgid dross - though my 10 year old likes it. It seems to fall between two stools with a crunch - neither attempting historical accuracy nor amusingly self referentially sending itself up. Roll on Dr Who - which gets it right.

Though now the missus is gripped by Strictly Come Dancing - I'll either be on the computer or down the pub!

Hi, I'm stuck as a NM in a school in darkest Nuneaton though I live in the south of the county. Keep trying to escape but haven't managed to yet in eight years.
