    Free Software for Animated Banner

    Evening

As part of some coursework, students need to produce an animated banner for a website.

I've been asked to suggest something free which is fairly simple to use to produce an animated banner. I don't think there's any requirement for it to be a flash animation but think it might be prefered. From my interpretation of it, an old hat an animated gif would do the job if something can easily produce that!

    Any suggestions?

I think the only problem you'll find with free software is that you'll get watermarks.

I have just found BannerNow - FREE Banner Maker - FREE Banner Creator though, free and doesn't give watermarks.

Thanks @TomCollins, that looks like a good option, only problem that might exist is the kids won't be able to come back to it, will have to be a one lesson job. I'll pass it on though and it might solve the problem (hopefully)
