    Had my iPhone outside on the floor in a black case, and by the looks of my sun burn it was a hot day. Thought better move my phone and seen the above message.. Now starting to thinking how hot was it..

    Nope, hence the sun burn.. Bad times. Took t-shirt off as well, as we was gardening. Results look good tho.

    I've seen that on a 3G that was on my car dash doing sat nav duties on a sunny day.

    I'm careful where I leave phone on the days we get sun now!

    My TomTom does it if its too hot to charge it will say so and won't let me charge it for ages.

    At the other side of the spectrum I've noticed the capacitive touch-screen on my iphone stops working when the temperature drops close to zero!
