Just thought i'd add to my ongoing saga...

Last week, i got to such a point of frustration that i was going to cancel the order...so i contacted the finance company. Within half an hour i'd recieved an email from them telling me that there was an issue with the supplier, it wasn't just me with the issue but Tredz apologised to me and the finance company for the delay and that i would have my bike on Wednesday. Things were starting to look up.

I've just had a phone call:

Tredz: Okay, your bike will be with you Wednesday but we have to send it to the billing address because its a finance thing. It'll be Wednesday 8am - 6pm.

    M: Oh, can i choose a time?

T: No, we can't control it. They wont ring or anything to say it's there.

    Me: But i'm at work..

T: Yeah, there's nothing we can do about that. Maybe they can leave it with a neighbour...

M: Will they climb stairs? Cus i live in a flat. They cant just leave it outside, that's why it was going to the delivery address i chose.

    T: Oh, well....i don't know.

    M: Do they do weekends?

T: No they don't do weekends....

M: Brilliant, they has been a nightmare from the start

    T: Yeah *laughs*

    M: Well, i don't have much choice do I...

Oh and a note to guy on the phone, put it down before you start to laugh...even if it wasn't at me (which i doubt), it's still not nice...

I've learnt some serious lessons from this..

Was really excited but this has put such a dampener on it all....

Hopefully if they can't deliver it they'll take it to the depo and then if you get the bus to the depo you can ride the bike home?

That's true, I suppose it depends where the depo is though. I'm not a confident enough rider to be going miles just yet....

It might be in a box and will need a certain amount of assembly. Now there is an idea, collect it from the depot and proceed to unwrap and assemble at the collection desk...(although as its not really the couriers fault this might be a bit harsh)

Are you sure many places assemble the bikes then partially disassemble parts like peddles and handlebars so it fits in a bike box...

In fact just found this link: How to build your new bike from Tredz - Tredz Cycling Blog

What I'd do is cancel the order and then buy a used bike, you get much more for your money and will end up enjoying cycling much more because of it.

Edit: Just read that you already knew this... nvm

Well it's not exactly rocket science to use and allen key or spanned to turn the handlebars or attach pedals I'm sure she could cope with that.

My mistake ^_^ Still I wouldn't want to be doing that in a sorting office on a hot day.

    So... if i'm to clarify...

You took almost 3 weeks of bullshizzlewicks, laughed at, told where your GOING to have it delivered, regardless of what you say, and hung up on.... yet your still going ahead with this.

*scratches head* Is it just me, or does anyone else spot something wrong?

Cancel the damn pedal pusher and buy the exact same one (or similar) elsewhere.

Sheesh, if they did that with my car, i'd have cooked their garage!

Agree with that. Now just stop there before you type something silly trying to make yourself look all awesome.
