Powerpoint & Wide Screen

Just a quick question in powerpoint i am making something and its on a widescreen laptop and there are blank bands at each side whwn i view the show how do i make it so it fills the screen.

you will need to convert the slide width into pixels and then back again once you have done your calculations.
