I'm just wondering weather anyone else is having the same problem.
Some of the videos will play and some of them won't.
For example will play (its quite funny)
and Won't play
Clips totally picked at random. Some of the teachers here have found some useful clips to use in lessons science etc. So I thought I'd investigate. :?
Thanks in advance

28th September 2007, 09:05 AM #3 Re: Youtube Videos Yes. But it will not play and have tried a number of things to download them, to no success. How do you do it?

FLV files do not play in WMP. You need to play the flv file in a FLV player. Do a google for 'flv players' and take your pick..!

I can see both clips OK on the you tube site without downloading.

I couldn't work out whether there was any logic to it - as often just restarting the computer would get it to read the vid.

Re: Youtube Videos It seems to be working for me back at home. I'm out of the office at the moment; I'll zip the file up again and post it tomorrow.
30th September 2007, 08:51 PM #14 Re: Youtube Videos I think it's something to do with youtubes load balancing/how they spread their videos out. If a video you want is hosted on a really busy server then you've no chance

Re: Youtube Videos I think you're correct 'TeddyKGB'. I've just tested the zip file on a virtual machine that has never had the zip file/vdownloader on it before and it has worked perfectly for me.
