ok guys just get the youtube downloader program im onli 17 and using it u put in the url for the vid and once its downloaded as a flv file u can convert it 2 any file u choose it works rly well and had no problems from it

ok reverting back to the original problem, I managed to sort it by adding uk.youtube.com to our local netsweeper allow list. they all play now
