The HND can be converted into a degree with a further years study. That's something I might take up at the time.

Re: IT Job + HND OR Degree

I don't think there is any obvious advantage to having a degree for technical support, but having the ability to read a manual is.

That said, I went to two universities and got a lot of (unrelated it IT) experience, met some life-long friends with similar interests, generally had a good time and found that student life generally suited me. Now I'm a fully paid up member of the general public I'm not any better off financially than I'd have been without a the interlude, but I don't regret it either.

Either way you won't make a 'bad' choice.

Hey i did the same HND and finished my top up degree in south bank in Business IT. My HND knowledge and had some hardware courses help me to land in a job as a Techee. not my degree. HND is a Fantastic Fundation for your knowlegde, but not necessarily for Techee job. take that job offer n do the HND, bit hard to concentrate on studies in ma experience while studying, but you can do it, if you committed. you can think of Microsoft Certifications As well. which iam into.

    Good Luck
