Used to love the Simpsons ages ago and collected the DVD box sets as soon as they came out. Then something just clicked and when I watch it now, I just don't find it funny any more. It's had a good run, time to call it quits methinks.

The OP vid is good though.

I think the very latest episodes (US broadcast) are pretty good. They've changed direction somewhat, possibly from taking ideas from Family Guy, American Dad and Cleveland Show.

I really enjoyed last weeks "Breaking Bad" opener: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKePrVPGK3g

I got tired of the Simpsons, ends up running similar stories and the characters rarely show any growth, both in their age and in the characters. If purgatory existes it may be like this show.

I didn't like it. I assume that means my donkey has a bad leg.

But then I don't like a Simpson anyway, or any Yanqui comedy cartoons for that matter.

Here's one those of you without kids may not have caught but I think it's hilarious: Adventure Time

Then again, it may just be that it's 100x better than most of the carp my daughter watches! In old school Simpsons style, there are plenty of jokes thrown in just for the adults, and it features the voice of John DiMaggio (most famous for Bender from Futurama)
