Here's my recipe for Anzacs:
- Mix 1 cup of plain flour, 1 cup of oats, 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut together.
- Melt 125g (1/2cup) butter & 2 tbsp golden syrup.
- Mix 1 tsp baking soda with 2 tbsp boiling water and while it's fizzing, chuck into the butter/syrup mixture. While this is frothy, mix into the dry ingredients.
- Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls and spread onto greased trays, allowing room to expand. Bake 180C for 10-12 mins and allow to cool on wire racks.
I can't eat biscuits with gluten in them...which is all of them and coeliac friendly biscuits are crumby so I eat haribo's with my tea does that still count?
Free biccies taste better - but you can only have so many Cow malted milks...
Squiggles (A New Zealand Biscuit) my sister in law got me onto
McVitie Digestive Caramels.
Awesome if you stick them in the freezer.
Has to be Party Rings
Mikado Daim's are currently my choice. Things are like crack.
lol, it's the only way to eat them!
