That's the same on IE9 too.
Also vertical spacing for the horizontal menu bar is smaller than in Chrome, and the News menu on the right of the homepage shows a "News and Events" blue cog header below the News text.

Try looking for a jQuery powered slideshow, then testing the demo sites on various browsers will save alot of time...
This one appears to work find: SlidesJS, a simple slideshow plugin for jQuery.

the annoying thing is on my demo that runs locally it works fine in all browsers. gonna set some time aside to do it today. the even more annoying thing is that due to it being on FROG i have to do it the long way around; upload all the files then copy the url of them (stuff like http://www.jcbacademy.com/user/74/80800.css) change the image links in css to be absolute refs like this too. takes forever
